The Matterhorn normal south route is almost dry up to the point where you climb on north west side. Good frozen snow there yesterday. The top ropes were almost dry too. Pics

We crossed this almost 3400 m high summit of Vanoise, from a mostly rocky ridge towards the north glacier. It’s close to the south side of Mont Blanc range. On the photos we also see Grande Casse, 3855 m high, the highest summit of the range.
